In another significant advancement, Balena has partnered with Recreus to launch Balena.Filaflex—a next-generation, fully circular 3D printing filament. This innovative material merges Balena's BioCir? Flex3D with Recreus's expertise in flexible 3D printing, setting a new standard for sustainable manufacturing.

Shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2024: Celebrating Innovation and Collaboration

Last week, we had the honour of attending the Dezeen Awards Awards 2024 ceremony alongside our brilliant partner, Brigitte Kock , where our collaborative project featuring our FlexTex3D material was shortlisted.

This innovative project showcased the potential of BioCir? Flex3D, Balena's proprietary biobased material, in creating fully circular 3D-printed textile garments. Being recognized by Dezeen for this groundbreaking work highlights the importance of collaboration in driving sustainable innovation. While we didn’t take home the award, attending the ceremony and celebrating with global design leaders reinforced our mission to transform industries through pioneering circular materials.
