Many people want to try real estate investing and often it can look so easy on television. However, the truth is there is a lot of risk and you have to be up for the challenge. You can do things to limit your risk and it is what you may not know that can cost you in the end.
With real estate investing there are some real estate strategies that are more difficult than others. If you are just starting in real estate wholesaling may be the way to go. With wholesaling it takes limited or no money to get started. If you can build a cash buyers list and use contingencies in your offer you will be able to limit your risk.

Other investors want to jump right into a rental or a flip. These can be fun , exciting and profitable. The flip or rental could be risky as well. The key is you want to always try to limit your risk and learn to avoid mistakes.
