In our pursuit of professional excellence, we often overlook the importance of mental respite and rejuvenation.

Similarly, emotional involvement with family and loved ones is a cornerstone of our emotional well-being. Thank you for this article. I made a conceous choice that now that I am running my own outfit I will give myself breaks and also have a cutoff for work so that I can transition to the role of a wife and friend and minister. This surprises many people when I decline business meetings after a certain hour if it is not an emergency. This has allowed me to put healthy boundaries and also makes me effective because I rest.
