Balance Your Energy

Have you experienced this?


You wake up in the morning from a good 8-hour sleep but…


… you’re still feeling tired.


Or maybe your energy levels fluctuate throughout the day and often have an afternoon slump.


Either way, the cause may lie in your routine and habits.


Your habits and routines define 80% of what you do every day.


They’re the things you do on autopilot, on repeat, every single day, week, month, and sometimes years.


Therefore they dictate 80%+ how effectively (or not) your energy is used.


Without managing these habits/routines, you don’t really know where or how your energy is being spent.


And there are 3 ways to deal with this…


The first one is to…


  1. Balance Your Energy Meter


By balancing your energy meter, I mean understanding your current routines and habits in terms of energy.


Some routines and habits give you energy, some take away your energy, and some do both.


For example, grabbing a coke to drink may instantly make you feel more energetic but this is not good for your health and your energy in the long run.


That’s why it’s important to know which routines and habits affect your energy levels in a good way and a bad way.


And once you discover the routines and habits that deplete your energy, you should start minimizing them.


The second way is…


  1. Find Energy Positive Actions


Start to discover new actions that replenish and refill your energy.


Let’s take exercise for example.


Exercising may seem to be taking away your energy as you move and sweat.


But in the long-term, it’s going to boost your energy levels a lot.


That’s one of the reasons why many successful people praise exercising.


And just like exercising, you should look for other positive actions you can take that replenish your energy.


For example, eating healthier, taking short walks, drinking water instead of other drinks, etc.


All those actions are going to replenish your energy and more importantly, make your energy consistent throughout the day.


And the last solution to increase your energy and keep it from fluctuating is to…


  1. Take Energy Replenishment Supplements


Taking energy replenishment supplements, for me, is the best solution to restoring energy.


Vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements can help supply missing nutrients from our diet.


Not only can they help balance out your diet, but they can also boost your energy and help you get better sleep at night.
