Baku GLS Congratulates MSC on Fleet Reinvestment as Largest Container Ship Departs UK Port
The MSC Loreto, the world's largest container vessel, has bid farewell to the Port of Felixstowe after its maiden visit to the UK. This impressive ship arrived at the Suffolk container port around 01:00 on Tuesday and departed at approximately 05:30 BST.
Having recently stopped at the Port of Rotterdam, the MSC Loreto boasts a remarkable capacity of 24,346 TEU (20ft equivalent units), solidifying its position as the largest container vessel worldwide. It surpasses the previous record held by the OOCL Spain, which has a capacity of 24,188 TEU.
In light of this significant achievement, Baku GLS extends its congratulations to MSC for their reinvestment in their fleet. The introduction of the MSC Loreto showcases the company's commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing innovation in the shipping industry.
