Baku Energy Week 01-03 June 2022

First time in the history of Azerbaijan, Baku Energy Week united the two great exhibitions: Caspian Oil & Gas?and Caspian Power. Please note that 249 companies from 30 countries took part in this exhibition during 01-03 June 2022.

I participated in that great event and visited 88 companies during three days there. It was very beneficial for me. So I made lots of new connections and learnt more.?

I would like to give the top 10 list of the companies that made great impression on me:

I am going to share my opinions about some of them:

bp – British Petroleum – 30 years in Azerbaijan. I was very pleased to talk to Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, the Vise – President of Caspian Communications and Advocacy. I had a chat with HR personnel and enjoyed it a lot.

I attended the 'Agility' training session delivered by the bp agility team. I was very happy to see Fidan Mirzalizade, my HSE colleague in agility team of bp. Port of Baku – Our hub in Eurasia. The first Eco Port in the region. 120 years of port experience in Baku.

I was very happy to see my HSE colleague Nigar Novruzova there as well. I really enjoyed Port of Baku’s staff performance and demonstration in that exhibition. I am very grateful to the representatives who had a sensitive approach and their perfect explanation of the Port of Baku’s operations and achievements in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan Railways - the national state-owned rail transport operator?in the country. This company has made substantial changes in the logistics and transportation history of Azerbaijan with more than 140 years of experience. ADY Container, ADY Express and AzRusTrans are the subsidiaries of the Azerbaijan Railways. I highly appreciated the warm welcome and positive behavior of their staff.?
