Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja Signs Mutual Agreement with the Sleman Regency Government, Concrete Support for Empowering MSMEs

Yogyakarta, October 31, 2023 - Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja, the pioneer of steamed bakpia, a product under PT Agrinesia Raya, has taken a significant step in supporting the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) by signing a mutual agreement with the Sleman Regency Government. This collaborative agreement solidifies the commitment of Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja and the Sleman Regency Government to empower and uplift MSMEs in the region.

The agreement encompasses various initiatives, including facilitating the curation, sales, and distribution of MSME products, coaching, and empowering MSME entrepreneurs. This collaborative effort is expected to be a stepping stone for Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja to make a positive contribution to the community and play a role in the region's economic growth.

Held at the Pendopo of the Sleman Regent's Residence on October 31, the event was attended by representatives from the Sleman Regency Government, including Sleman Regent's Representative Hery Sutopo, Head of the Regional Handicrafts Council of Sleman Regency Sri Purnomo, Head of the Department of Cooperatives, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of Sleman Regency R. Haris Martapa, as well as representatives from Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja's management, including Rizka Wahyu Romadhona, Owner of Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja, Nanang Siswanto, Marketing Director of Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja, and Verdy Hendra Permadi, Sales Director of Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja.

In the speech by the Sleman Regent's Representative, Hery Sutopo expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja. His hope was that this event would improve the quality of MSME products in Sleman Regency, enabling them to compete effectively with other products in the market. If, in the past, MSME products were not optimally absorbed by the market, this opportunity is ideal for enhancing the quality and variety of products in demand.

The event's agenda extended beyond the signing ceremony, as it continued with a visit to stands to inspect MSME products. It was followed by an entrepreneur training session featuring speakers from Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja. This training session signifies Bakpia Kukus Tugu Jogja's concrete efforts to empower and advance MSME entrepreneurs.
