What is your role at TFS and what does that involve?

I’m a Chief Risk Officer and this role involves a lot of responsibility ??

My primary role is to manage the inherent risks of the company and to ensure the greatest possible balance between risk and opportunity. As you know, there are many risks, especially in our rapidly developing and changing world. Therefore, it is very important to stay updated on all the news and changes, both inside and outside the company. This requires daily communication with colleagues and partners, assistance and training in risk management, and support in making important decisions.

What has been the most rewarding experience you've had at TFS?

Although I have a banking background, the international automotive business has been a fascinating shift for me. I am very happy to be part of the big Toyota family.

The highlight so far was being at a dealer conference where the new Prado was unveiled. It was a moment that made me truly appreciate what Toyota is all about.

How has working at TFS helped you develop as an individual?

The culture and philosophy at Toyota play an important role in my personal development. I draw inspiration from these principles and strive to integrate them into my daily life. Embracing corporate values, adhering to principles, and utilising tools like TBP contribute to a more structured, planned, and high-quality approach in both work and life.

What have been some of your biggest challenges and successes while working at TFS?

Each day presents its own set of challenges, and one that stands out is my involvement in developing an automated decision-making system aimed at enhancing the user experience by expediting the processing of loan applications. My main challenge involves maintaining decision quality amidst a significant reduction in processing time and the integration of cutting-edge technologies. Essentially, it involves finding a right balance between risk and reward.

What advice would you give to someone considering starting a career at TFS?
