Bakhodir Jalal
Faces of Jayhun, 91x88 cm, acrylic on canvas
Bakhodir Jalal was born in 1948 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is not only an artist who works in his studio but also teaches some art classes in Tashkent.
Mark Chagall influenced Jalal’s interception of understanding and visualizing the art world. He gave him an idea of creating and working on yourself all the time to reach your goals. To stop at something that already exists is not an option; therefore; create, live, and learn.
In Jalal’s art pieces, viewers can see some Surrealism manners as well as in Bobur Ismailov’s works. Colors, space, and use of objects in his paintings – all of these represent a manner of dreams. Sometimes, we can see how artist explored abstract, cubism, or futurism forms and manners. Artist has a sense of visualizing something abstract and outrageous that brings like a magnet viewers to see his pieces closer. Jalal can change his colors from dull to bright, outlines from thin to thick, and many other details but his style will always remain the same.
