A Baker who needs SUGAR to bake bread will not buy SUGARCANE to fulfill his needs.
Whenever you buy RAW data, you may not just feel it but you are WASTING A LOT of MONEY. Let me tell you why.
Before that, let me ask you this… What is the main job of your agents?
If their job is to CONVERT, then do not by RAW data!
Raw data may be very cheap or low priced data that makes them enticing. However, just like a sheep in a wolves clothing, these apple to eyes prices are deceiving. Why?
When you buy raw data, your agent will spend most of their time validating and filtering your data instead of converting.
Let us get into a concrete example
DME Campaign; 10 Agents; 250 records per agent for 1 day; 8 working hours per day
- How many successful CONNECTS did you have out of 2500 calls (250 records x 10 agents) initiated?
- How many of those CONNECTED calls were picked up and turned to CONTACTS
- How many of those CONTACTS turned out to be RIGHT PARTY CONTACTS (S&S passed and Eligible)?
- How many RPCs were converted to SALES (billable) - Conversion Rate?
At the end of the very lengthy and painstaking process,
· How much did you pay for the raw data?
· How much did you pay for operational expenses for that day (rental cost, support cost)?
· How much did you pay for your utilities for that day (electricity, water)?
· How much did you pay for your connectivity (Internet, VoiP, Dialer, Server cost)?
· How much did you pay for agent’s salary for that day?
Check and Review your COST to REVENUE table. Are you earning at least 66% of your initial investment?... I bet not.
What went wrong?
Simple. The answer is... you paid your agents to filter out the data the entire day. Your agents were not doing what they were supposed to be doing which is CONVERTING!
Why did this happen? – because you got blinded by the cheap cost of data, thinking that using raw data will cut down on your cost! Initially it may look like you have, HOWEVER in reality, you spent more!
So will the BAKER buy SUGARCANE (raw material) for his needs?
