Bake Pristine, attract like a hot-spot.
A bakery, one of the most profitable businesses is good investment to make. Its easily on the list of high profit margin businesses if done right. Yep if done absolutely right, because its a business that could go extremely haywire if done wrong. Its advantageous if the proprietor has the know-how & a general knowledge of how baking works as he/she will easily minimize costs and maximize on the profits.
The proprietor doesn't need manpower in instances when the business starts. Its like a baby who deserves the love of her mother. The motherly love, is the proprietor's availability to nurse his/her business. A proprietor's availability is the breast to a bakery. As a business on ground levels, let is suckle your energy. Learn how its graph begins to form. And just like most businesses, babysit it till it no longer finds pleasure with your breasts. You can add more labor overtime.
Using the analogy of crumbs, its easier to make breadcrumbs at home if you have a few bread slices. In the same way its easier to start a bakery with a basic home oven. Sounds absurd right? Yes a bakery asks for little capital. Its not a heavy beggar. Regardless of how profitable you want to get, just don't go for those cubicle ovens. They're not worth it till your business proves to need them.
My last two cents; To have a smooth run, ensure you have a love for baking. That will translate to a love for perfectly baked goods. Your love will guide you like a blind stick. You will uphold a certain level of standard for your baked goods. No 2nd class cakes will look good on you. Not even pale croissants as golden croissants are much more attractive. Bake finesse, bake pristine & let you consumers be attracted. Your bakery should be a hot-spot. So attract. My heaviest chunk of nugget on a starting a bakery? Choose a place where your consumers are. It's scalable where people are. Put your money where your customer is.
