1) Chinese Search Giant 百度 to Launch ChatGPT-Style Bot
百度 is planning to roll out an artificial intelligence chatbot service similar to OpenAI 's ChatGPT, according to a person familiar with the matter, potentially China's most prominent entry in a race touched off by the tech phenomenon.? China's largest search engine company plans to debut a ChatGPT-style application in March. The tool, whose name has yet to be decided, will allow users to get conversation-style search results. 百度 's shares rose by 5.8% after 彭博资讯 's report, the largest intraday gain in almost four weeks. BuzzFeed Inc.'s shares more than doubled this month after it announced plans to incorporate ChatGPT in its content.
2) Get over ChatGPT on Earth, AI is about to touch the Moon
Artificial intelligence (AI) is about to touch the surface of the Moon; MoonNet, an AI system, is hitching the ride to the lunar world on a United Arab Emirates rover. Rashid rover was launched to the Moon by Elon Musk's SpaceX on December 11. The AI system has been developed by Canada's Mission Control Space Services (MCSS) based on $3.04 million in funding from the Canadian Space Agency. This is the second big mission for the Emirates space agency, which garnered global attention when it launched the Hope probe and managed to place it in Martian orbit on its maiden mission.?
