BEING CEO READY - The Bagggel Flagship conference highlights
In April 2024, we hosted our first annual conference, "Being CEO Ready," organized by BAGGGEL Foundation - Creating a Balanced World. Surrounded by industry leaders, allies, and change-makers, we embarked on a journey of growth, empowerment, and transformation. As we reflect on the powerful impact of our annual conference, we are excited to share some of the wonderful insights from our outstanding speakers.
We are incredibly grateful for the illuminating session led by Vasanthi Srinivasan at the 'Being CEO Ready' conference! Her insights into the journey of women leaders were both eye-opening and thought-provoking.
It's astounding to learn that women, on average, spend 23 years within a single organization before ascending to the CEO level, compared to just 15 years for men. This significant disparity underscores the urgency for fostering balanced leadership within our organizations.
Vasanthi's session made it clear that the path to the top is often longer and more arduous for women, highlighting systemic challenges that need our immediate attention. It's not just about achieving equality for the sake of fairness; it's about harnessing the full potential of diverse leadership to drive innovation and growth. Companies with balanced leadership are better positioned to understand and meet the needs of their diverse customer base, ultimately leading to greater success.
