Bad News- It Is What It Is

Did last month turn out the way you wanted??

Personally??

Professionally??

Financially??

Are you happy with the clients you got, the work you did, the seeds you planted, and the relationships you’ve developed??

Did you make the revenue you wanted??

Nothing speaks the truth as loudly as your bank account.?

I don’t care if your goal was $5,000 this month or $50,000 this month… did you even have a goal??

Or are you just treading water and not holding yourself accountable to any particular goal or outcome or revenue metric??

The phrase that shows me you’ve totally abdicated responsibility for your business growth:

“It is what it is.”?

UGGHHHH - I hate that phrase.?

Totally feckless, reckless, and weak.?

Don’t get me wrong - it’s NOT about the money.?

Really.?

It’s about what does that money represent to you, your clients, your audiences, your family, your community, and the world at large?

Are you making the impact you’re meant to make??

Are you serving the people you’re meant to serve??

Are you creating that “dent in the universe” that Steve Jobs so famously advised?

If you ask me, here’s the formula for real success:?

1. Help more people.?
2. Serve more people.?
3. Be grateful for what you have.
4. Work with the mindset of joy, happiness, and abundance (in advance)
5. Set bigass goals that scare the stuffing out of you.?
6. Be useful, generous, and kind.?
7. Get rewards commensurate with your level of effort, commitment, tenacity, and heart
8. Take large bags of cash to the bank.

Anyone that thinks it starts with #8 is delusional, lying, or just plain wrong.?
