Bad Applicant Tracking System Advice From Outplacement And Career Coaches

Most career resources give some pretty bad advice about how to get your resume past Applicant Tracking Systems (the resume screening databases most employers use).

They don't mean to give bad advice - they just give really simplistic advice that maybe could work if there were very few qualified candidates that we competing for the same job as you and if you got really lucky.
