Backhoe Range, Just The Beginning

To all my current and future customers, below are some key benefits to using our Lightweight Backhoe Range.

The Backhoe Trench Box – Any application of the base box is lighter than 1te which enables you to cut down on your machine size and cost.

Under-Strut clearance 1.20m (giving you a great range for utilities and pipe diameter sizes)

Can come with a top unit to achieve depths of 2.90m

Can also be supplied with full edge protection / ladder access & fall arrest (please note with our new Universal Edge Protection Barriers, we are the first temporary works specialist to meet and exceed BS EN 13374:2013 Class A & Class B - the Standards for Temporary Edge Protection (independently tested by Lloyds British test house).

This means that our Universal barriers can prevent large pieces of debris falling through it and are able to resist a dynamic force large enough to stop a person who is falling, sliding or rolling down a slope of up to 30°

View our standard design solutions (please see link below) that will cover you for a range of design scenarios, more designs are being added each month, at the moment sheet and frame designs for excavation support are available however the box options will be completed later this month, if for any reason you fall outside of the standard design solution criteria it will then prompt you to seek further advice and possibly a be-spoke design, once you have successfully answered all the questions correctly it will offer you a PDF download which contains the standard solution design.

At Mabey we can offer all temporary works design solutions from excavation support, to formwork, propping, falsework, we can even supply environmental and structural monitoring for compliance with Section 61.
