Michael Eisner was a major success in the TV show industry.
Basically, he’s the guy who made Disney a top Hollywood studio.
This dude had Midas’ Touch - everything he got his hands on turned to literal gold.
But the problem is, it got to his head a little too much.
Humility ceased to exist and he attributed all the success to himself.
He dismissed the fact that almost all the time, he had help from some of the most talented and impactful people in the industry.?
Sure enough, soon came his downfall.
He fired a man called Jeffery Katzenberg and had no idea what a mistake he’d made.?
Jeffery was the guy behind Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King.
Jeffery took the L, went off on his own, started a new animation movie studio called Dreamworks and gifted Disney one hell of a competitor!
And this is where things went south for Eisner.?
Because of the strong competition, the price of talent increased drastically.
So Disney was forced to severely cut their costs and alongside many others, they fired Eisner.?
Rebel, when you become successful and believe that everything is the result of your hard work alone…
You develop a misleading sense of confidence.
You stop showing respect to the people who supported, helped, and coached you on your way up.?
Even worse, you stop respecting those who aren’t as successful as you are (just yet).
So it’s crucial not to let success and money change you.

Yes, sometimes it’s tempting to take all the credit and enjoy the spoils of your victories on your own.
But the people that succumb to that temptation ultimately plague the world with mediocrity.
So, what exactly should you do instead?
Realize that everything in life is a choice…
You have to choose to give an experience over settling for a transaction
Choose to be more creative instead of blasting thousands of bland outreach attempts
And choose to build a relationship over closing a deal
As long as you try, you’ll never be just another boring salesperson.?
That my friend, is your responsibility
It’s what Rebels do.
Much love,
Dale

Money is just an necessity the carries us through to support our families. Relationship based decisions lead to success! The money ?? always follows. Be blessed my friend
