Back to School

Here we are. Parent rejoice, kids well, not so much.
Today marks the first school year in five that we only had one child to drop off (I was going to say deliver but that just doesn’t seem right!). It got me thinking.
Now that we are back into the swing of things, maybe it’s time to check all the boxes for our future and our families future.
If our children decide a post-secondary education is what they want to pursue, how are they (or more importantly we) going to pay for it?
What if they choose to take a year or two off to tour Europe? What happens to their benefits coverage under your work plan?
What if they have a great business idea and want to start their own company? Does the bank of mom and dad have enough money to help?
Our children have so many options ahead if them. They have so many choices, and the world of education and business will be so different for them as it was for us, the same as it was for us and our parents.
We don’t need to figure it all out now.
We just need to prepare for it.
