Back making an impact
StartupAmsterdam
Your ultimate guide to Amsterdam's buzzing startup & scaleup scene.
Hello everyone,?
It’s been a while since you came across an e-mail from StartupAmsterdam, but after a little break we are back in full swing! So much is happening and we are always delighted to showcase the impact of startups and scale-ups in the Amsterdam ecosystem.?
Instead of looking back at all the things that have happened, we’re focusing on what lies ahead of us. June is going to be an eventful month, with of course The Next Web Conference as one of the major highlights. The City of Amsterdam is present again at TNW on June 20 & 21. We have selected 12 solutions to the most pressing environmental, urban and social challenges. Come and meet our innovators at Startup Pavilion (booth #5).
Haven’t secured your TNW tickets yet? You can always rely on StartupAmsterdam, we have your back with a 50% discount code on Business Passes with code STARTUP-AMS-50.
?? Behind the scenes we have been working on the new approved plan, Strengthening Amsterdam’s Innovation and Impact Ecosystems (2023-2026). This new plan helps achieve one of the five assignments of the recently approved and released Vision on the Amsterdam Local Economy plan and is built upon the work StartupAmsterdam and Amsterdam Impact have done over the last 9 years. One of the biggest changes is that Bas Beekman, our Programme Manager for the past years, takes on another role. Further, you might notice some changes in content collaborations, where we will be blending in more Amsterdam Impact news and vice versa. Making an impact is what we all have in common, and sharing our knowledge, network and reach is the logical thing to do.?Read more on the plan here.
We hope you enjoy our reactivation, and if you have any input or events you would like to share, don’t hesitate to reach out!?
Have a great read and expect the next newsletter in your inboxes in two weeks,?
