Job is tough but #Entrepreneurship is not easy either. Many people think of getting into Entrepreneurship once they are are not satisfied with the jobs or not able to achieve what they wanted to achieve in their jobs.
And there are many articles on internet to inspire you to move to #Entrepreneurship and also positive and negative side of it.
But what happens if you take a plunge and become an #Entrepreneur but not able to succeed or not able to achieve what you wanted to do personally , professionally or financially.
The only option at that time to go back to jobs but there are lot of questions which may haunt you while taking this decision and in this article , I am pointing out few of them-
I am sharing few points based on my learning. I am assuming that your dream venture did not go well and that is something pushing you to go back to the job-
1) Making up your mind - You need to decide whether this is just a stop gap arrangement what you are doing or this is something you wish to continue in Job for ever and never go back to rough roads of entrepreneurship. This decision is important as that will decide your future course of actions.
2) WWW- What Went Wrong? - You also need to analyze what went wrong in your venture. Was it you or your idea or market potential or market size or any other factors. It is important because you need to decide what not to do and expect or look for when hunting for a job.
3) Which way to go - May be during entrepreneurship you wore multiple hats and played many roles from Peon to CEO of the company (and everything in between) and it gets difficult to get into a job with such a wide experience. So why applying for a job , you need to focus on your strongest area , prepare your profile and then apply for job accordingly. Focus on the Core skills and then upgrade those skills to align with the current market requirements.
4) You are not a loser - Failing once or twice in life , does not make you a failure for life . So fight it out and keep your confidence and Self esteem high. When you apply for a job , don't feel that you failed and don't even propagate this to other.
5) Be accountable - Don't blame others or situations for your failure or what went wrong. It's ok to take decision and later realize those were wrong. Always keep some data to analyze and explain what went wrong.
6) Entrepreneur is a fighter not a loser - Sometimes you are asked to prove that how you can be a good employee after Entrepreneurship and you need to quote your diverse experience , Fighting Spirit and learnings to prove it.
7 ) Not every company is Entrepreneurship Friendly - You need to hunt for some companies who promote and appreciate their employee for sharing Out of the box ideas and give them freedom to implement those. Not every company appreciates it and not every company hates it. Always share your ideas with business owner or manager and also highlight what value add you bring to the company. Businesses are for making money and sharing some tangible number will always help.
8) Full time or Part time or Consulting or freelancing - Sometimes , it takes time to figure out what actually you want in life and before you hop on for a full time job , It is always good to take up some consulting or freelance assignment so that you get much required cash flow and peace of mind and also give you some buffer to take the final decision.

9) Use your connection and contacts - During your last jobs and Entrepreneurship you made lot of contacts , personally and professionally and there is no harm in reaching out to them and ask for guidance and support. We make contacts so that we can get guidance when we need and what is the use of having contacts if we don't do it.
10) Take advice from people who travelled the same road - It is always to reach out to people who have taken similar decision in past and have successfully conquered . Those people will be the best people to help you and guide you with their experiences and journey.
And last but not the least,
NEVER LOSE HOPE.
THIS IS NOT THE END OF WORLD.
NEVER BE DEPRESSED.
FIGHT IT OUT.
Hope these points makes sense and able to give you some pointer to take a right decision. And remember that this is not happening only with you but millions of other people too.
