2020 saw the Governments launch of the "Decade of Health" not that at the planning stage did they see what was coming around the bend to slam the NHS into a tsunami of critical health care.
Anyway, after their own Whitehall 'II' Occupational Health Study followed by, the 2016 WHO International Classification of Diseases 10th Revision, confirming "vision stress or eye-strain in DSE operators" as, a non-communicable pandemic in Eye-Health it is now known that 50% MORE children in the 21st Century are also suffering over-exposure to the near or close-up causing early onset vision stress, blurred or worse double vision presenting in myopic and/or asthenopic disease or stress related binocular adaptations commonly described or observed as, lazy-eye or eye-turns.

However, the BSI launched their ISO 30071.1 in 2019, to go with the 2018 WCAG Accessibility "Colour Contrast Validation" for websites, as a "Product Safety" intervention to mitigate the occupational health risk of using or operating sub-optimally calibrated standard, out of the box, back-lit or OLED display screens.
