Back in the Day......
SMS Telecom Expense Management
Let SMS be your "Extra Hands" for bottom-line results and effective Management of IT and Costs.
Once upon a Time......., Back in the Day, when Telecom was new, there were plenty of contracts and bills and usage billed in seconds or minutes and a multitude of options to decipher and negotiate. As time went on, rules of engagement and "terms and conditions" got adopted. Some things got simpler. Most usage is "unlimited" today for many services. We the customer, adjusted our course and dealt with the changing times. Gone are the days of requests for 2 years of back credits and adjustments for bills. Now the customer needs to make sure they notify, in writing, a bill dispute and you might get credit back to that date or sometimes, only 3 months of back credits, if you happen to miss the mistake.
Now, I am not saying, doing a bill review is not worth it, but, it is a different world and adjustments and credits, are also different. Make sure you negotiate the "Best'" rates and prices, UPFRONT. Know the competition. Of course, always check the first and second bills when they come in after a new contract or renewal. Question anything that does not look right or not clear to understand. Billing is simpler today. Usually, usage is unlimited in most services. That does not mean that the billing is easier to understand.

A few things to remember "if you don't ask, you don't get" and there is never a dumb question, especially when the services and products you will be paying for, are involved.
