Back to Business: Fall Reading for Innovative Leaders

I hope you all had a good summer. Mine involved spending time in Paris for the Olympics and visiting friends in South France and the countryside.

Now that we are back in our work routine, this is the perfect time to explore leadership books, especially those focused on innovation.

Like our kids returning to school, this is the time for new learning.?

Recently, Tim Hughes honored me by including me alongside nine other business writers in his list of 10 books to explore this fall to sharpen leadership skills.??

Here is what he wrote about my book:

Fire Up Innovation – Sparking and Sustaining Innovation Teams is a must-read for any business leader aiming to thrive in today's competitive landscape. Cahen expertly emphasizes the necessity of fostering high-performing innovation teams from within an organization to drive success. This book stands out with its practical approach, offering tangible strategies and tools to support and sustain innovation efforts. “

Tim Hughes also hosts Tim Talk, a podcast for curious people and people with a growth mindset. A couple of months ago, we had a conversation on his podcast about how innovation teams can succeed by being more efficient and collaborative. You can view our discussion here.

I highly recommend reading Tim's article on 10 Books to Sharpen Your Leadership Skills this Autumn and purchase and read some of these great books (and support the authors). And if you have not read my book yet and want the paper version, you can receive $10 off (US only) on your copy of Fire Up Innovation: Sparking and Sustaining Innovation Teams.??

If you are inspired by your reading and want to support the changes in your organization, let's connect to discuss your innovation team's challenges and ways to enhance collaboration and effectiveness. Please reach out, and let's start a conversation.?

Congrats Helene Cahen on being included in this round up of the top 10 books for the fall. I agree with you that school starting is a wonderful marker for adults to spend some time on continuous learning.
