Welcome to the January Back the Bill campaign mailer.??

We’re sure you’ll all agree the last few months of 2023 were an incredibly busy time working in Housing. The closure of a Green Paper consultation into fair rents and the right to adequate housing, a White Paper into ending homelessness and launch of WHQS 2023 meant lots of additional work – on top of keeping the show on the road in challenging times.??

As we start a new year, it’s important to reflect on what’s gone before and the futures potential. In keeping with this, there’s lots to read in this mailer including a briefing for MSs, our campaign response to the White Paper on ending homelessness, the celebration of World Human Rights Day and a blog ahead of the budget on why all roads lead to the right to adequate housing.?

Ahead of the final budget announcement at the end of February, our latest blog reflects if we want to end homelessness and prevent future housing crises, all roads lead to the right to adequate housing.?

December saw the 75th anniversary of World Human Rights Day, over the course of the day we reached 2645 people across our social platforms and 284 readers of our campaign statement.?

Croeso i daflen yr ymgyrch Back the Bill ar gyfer mis Ionawr. Rydyn ni’n si?r y byddwch chi i gyd yn cytuno bod misoedd olaf 2023 wedi bod yn gyfnod prysur iawn i fod yn gweithio ym maes Tai. Roedd cau ymgynghoriad Papur Gwyrdd ar renti teg a’r hawl i gartref digonol, Papur Gwyn ar roi diwedd ar ddigartrefedd, a lansio SATC 2023 yn golygu llawer o waith ychwanegol – yn ogystal a chadw pethau ar y trywydd iawn mewn cyfnod heriol.

Ar drothwy blwyddyn newydd, mae'n bwysig myfyrio ar yr hyn sydd wedi digwydd yn y gorffennol a'r potensial ar gyfer y dyfodol. Yn unol a hyn, mae llawer i’w ddarllen ar y daflen hon, gan gynnwys briff ar gyfer Aelodau o'r Senedd, ymateb ein hymgyrch i’r Papur Gwyn ar roi diwedd ar ddigartrefedd, dathlu Diwrnod Hawliau Dynol y Byd, a blog cyn y gyllideb ynghylch pam mae pob ffordd yn arwain at yr hawl i gartref digonol. ?

Cyn cyhoeddi’r gyllideb derfynol ddiwedd mis Chwefror, mae ein blog diweddaraf yn ystyried: os ydym am roi diwedd ar ddigartrefedd ac atal argyfyngau tai yn y dyfodol, mae pob ffordd yn arwain at yr hawl i gartref digonol. ?

Edrychwch ar ein?hymateb i ymgyrch?y Papur Gwyn ar roi diwedd ar ddigartrefedd, sy’n tynnu sylw at sut gall yr hawl i gartref digonol helpu i gyflawni’r cynigion hyn mewn ffordd fwy pendant. ?

Yr wythnos diwethaf, fe wnaethom ysgrifennu at Aelodau o’r Senedd yn eu hatgoffa o’r ymgyrch, y cyfleoedd mae ymgorffori yn eu cynnig a sut gallan nhw gofrestru i’n cefnogi ni.? Gallwch ddarllen am yr hyn y buom yn ei drafod yma. ?

Ym mis Rhagfyr, nodwyd 75 mlynedd ers sefydlu Diwrnod Hawliau Dynol y Byd. Yn ystod y diwrnod, cyrhaeddom 2645 o bobl ar draws ein llwyfannau cymdeithasol a 284 o ddarllenwyr ein datganiad ymgyrch.

Ydych chi wedi mwynhau’r hyn rydych chi wedi’i ddarllen? Gallwch ymuno a 150 a mwy o bobl a dangos eich cefnogaeth i gofrestru ar gyfer yr hawl i gartref digonol neu gysylltu a [email protected] i drafod yr ymgyrch ymhellach.
