Back To The Basics

Back To The Basics

Okay, I’m admittedly a little aggravated, mostly at Inman news. Quite Honestly I’m sick and tired of them reporting that the services Real Estate Agents serve are a commodity. Time for a Paradigm Shift. As the Broker in charge of this fine organization that has supervised far in excess of 30,000 real estate transactions, while I recognize that some transactions are seamless (put it on the MLS and receive multiple offers and earn thousands or tens of thousands of dollars), that’s simply not the ordinary case.

Let’s face it – Nobody wants to MOVE. The process sucks for both Seller’s and Buyer’s. Oh yeah – let’s pack up all our stuff – hire movers – relocate our family – meet new neighbors and start our lives all over again. Same for the Buyer, just reverse. Oh - if you require a mortgage to buy the house, well, just be prepared to bare all. Sellers…Be sure the Buyer is prepared to Bare All. Just Saying! The banks have certainly learned how not to give loans to people who can’t afford them. A lesson learned from years past.

Okay – it can be exciting to move to a new place…I get it…nevertheless there is a ton of disruption. Who should you get your Internet through, do you even need a home phone line, will you derive value from the CDD/HOA/COA – do you even know what they offer/require? You certainly should! Did the Seller disclose all “known Defects”, did you hire the right Home Inspector, Termite Guy, Surveyor, and heaven forbid you need other specialized inspectors, Mold remediators, Seawall specialists, Well/Septic inspections, and the list goes on and on based on the type of property being purchased. Who the heck should you choose?

Enter your Real Estate Agent – NOTE: (Be sure they’re backed by a Brokerage that has your back.) Let’s face it! You, the public buys a house every 5 to 7 years. We supervise 300 sales a month and have been doing this for 26 years. You won’t likely find a situation we haven’t encountered and we’ve learned how to “get through the issues” that will inevitably occur. While it’s rote to us, we recognize that it’s new to you. “We’ve

got your back” and together we’ll make this your finest Real Estate Experience…GUARANTEED!

As a provider of Life Betterment Solutions, we’re here to help. We’ve got your back! If you’re even remotely thinking of Moving Up – Moving Down - or Simply Moving Around, please feel free to reach out to the agent who sent you this newsletter. We’re happy to Empower, Educate and Encourage you to make sound decisions. We’ve got your Back. ?
