Before attending the "Back to Basics" themed Thought Leader Immersion in Melbourne, I thought it must be much more meaningful if I ask myself, and have a deep dive to my self-reflection first.
What does "Back to Basics" mean to me?
?Back to Basic-Self
- Be the raw, naked, and empty version of yourself.
- Be the best version of yourself, even at your worse.
- Have the courage to start over not only from nothing but also from negative.
- Carry the identity that defines only you, not the identity that comes along with your family, society or workplace that you belong to.
?Back to Basic-Others
- Treating others as if they are at their best.
- Remove the biases based old experience, remove the competition, comparison and convincing mindset, and stop imposing the expectations based on your limited perceptions.
?Back to Basic-Work
- Do what you meant to do anyway.
- No matter if the situation is changed, no matter if the challenges are increased, no matter if there is none to join you, keep doing it.
- Drive your thoughts for the bigger impact with every little action.
?You may have limited resources, but you can still feel resourceful.
?You may have no support, but you can still feel surrounded by blessings.
?It is easy to compete, easier to compare or to convince, and it is simple but hard to stay with basics.
To simplify, it is about being 'the love' to yourself, to others and to your work.
That what "Back to Basics" meant to me?
What does it mean to YOU?

5 年Wow ...just wow! At your articulation of back to basics. Full of wisdom. You are an old soul trapped in a young body :-). I couldn't add anything more and different to what you have listed ...back to basics boils down to going deep within and listening to that voice of wisdom which is always available...but we have to learn to make time and space to sit in silence and access it
