Hassanatou Barry, the Babysitter Guru, of New York is giving credibility to babysitting by showing their are ways to do it. Barry's growth has afforded her the ability to steer an otherwise unregulated industry with her citations in New York Post and Sittercity.
"After several years of babysitting and becoming a trusted child care resource throughout the state of New York, I decided to launch The Babysitter Guru."
Becoming a face of an industry isn't Barry's main goal. She saw what she was able to accomplish, noted her challenges, and wants those that wish to be a babysitter to have guidance through her method. Barry continues, "I am a young, innovative, and resolute entrepreneur with an unwavering passion for pursuing my dreams. I discovered my passion stemmed from the very position I was pursuing as an alternative to earning extra income, which was babysitting. I realized there weren’t enough credible resources out there to provide caregivers information that would be useful."
While on Nanny ABCs' Next Step podcast Barry goes over, step by step, her Top Ten Tips Sitters Must Know.
