Baby Steps

Have you ever seen a baby walk before?

I want you to close your eyes and imagine a baby taking his or her first steps.

At first, the baby crawls, then tries to stand on its feet before taking one step at a time, although not so steadily. However, one thing I find fascinating about a baby walking is that he or she is never left unguarded. There would always be an adult around to guide them through, and even when they fall, there is an assurance that the baby will get back on their feet and walk again.

Most times in life, we are scared of making decisions and walking through unknown territories, and it seems like we are constantly calling for someone to lead us, guide us, and just give us that assurance that we are doing the right thing. We may not see him or feel his presence, however, God is our ever-present help in time of need, and even forever.

Just like the baby girl trying to find her balance, we should also see life from that perspective, and even though we may fall, we are certain that we have a purpose and a high calling in Christ Jesus, which assures us that He is there to lead us, guide us, and walk with us on this journey.

I hope you learn to take baby steps today.

Love and light!

As I closed my eyes, I did not only imagine, but had flashback of watching my younger ones take their first steps as toddlers. In my mind's eyes and memory was a perfect picture for the analogy you are trying to make. The truth is that we might fall maybe many times, as long as we do not remain on the floor, but pick ourselves up every single time, we have hope that we would get to our destinations wherever it is for each of us. I have the conviction that the universe is unfolding as it supposed to, and we must be at peace with ourselves and God whatever we conceive him to be. Thank you for this wonderful piece.
