"Baby".

Hey there, I had a hard time thinking of a more "professional" topic, well I guess we are stuck with the above.

How are you doing!? Please do remember to keep safe at this time. Like it is said in Nigerian Twitter parlance: "na who dey alive de send 'please find attached' o". Meaning, it is a man that is alive that can function daily (or go about his daily activities, one of which is sending mails). Lol.

So y'all remember Baby J right? The daughter given to us sometime in 2019, she will be two years old this year. But something happened recently that I believe we can draw lessons from.

While she was trying to start talking, we would always repeat 'daddy' and 'mummy' into her ears. Like, we kept drumming just those two words when talking to her. We repeated the sequence until she pronounced "dada" once! I was super proud. Imagine that she kept saying daddy before learning how to say mummy.

In fact, at that time Her Royal Sweetness became jealous. Because, when Baby J wants to call her instead of saying "mummy" or "mama" she will still call her "dada". Lol. This was amusing to observe. But take note that all of these happened because from the beginning, we kept drumming these words into her ears.

Skip to a month plus ago, and she suddenly called me "Baby"!!! What? How? When? Like, where? I mean, who? OK. Let me calm down. Sincerely I couldn't understand how it all happened. I even thought I didn't hear it well until HRS confirmed it.

How did she move from calling me "daddy" to calling me "baby"? It's simple. This happened because, she kept hearing HRS call me baby countless times, and so she felt my name wasn't really "daddy" but "baby". I trust you get the point now, right?

This is key if we must progress accurately into 2021 and maximize it. What are you calling your life? How do you address your situation? Do you call yourself useless, hopeless and ready to die? Do you still feel 2021 will be worse for you than 2020 was? Someone even said 2021 is actually "2020-1" (more like a variant of 2020, Lol); well that is for him though.

I'm not saying mere speaking positive would automatically change your life; but at least it will change your mentality, subconscious and environment. When you speak positive, your brain hears it for so long that it starts thinking of ways to make it better for you. Your subconscious hears you say it and records same in its memory.

The people in your circle hear it so much that they start thinking in the same light. Now when opportunities to soar comes their way, because all you have been saying is in their subconscious, they immediately remember you and get you connected.

Somehow the words of our mouth has a way of compelling our lives to fall in line. Put differently, our words are the compelling force that drags along our life. Show me a man who excels in his enterprise and I will tell you the words he speaks! You know the way the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree right? Your life doesn't fall too far from your words. Actually, your life is a replica or the manifestation of your words!

Elon Musk, who became the richest man in the world this January 2021 sent a rocket to space sometime last year, but if you read about him, he has been sending that rocket (that finally left earth to space) countless times and on different occasions through his words.

While I am writing this, a brother chatted me up to tell me of a deal available that he heard about. Do you know why? He has heard me countless times tell him that I am interested in such deals. So the moment he heard it, boom! My name sprang into his consciousness from his subconscious.

When you keep saying those positive words, when you keep speaking that seemingly impossible feat, you are storing them both in the bank of your subconscious and in that of those who hear you too.

Now Baby J either calls me "Baby" or "Babe". She chooses whichever pleases her per time. Lol. But since that time, she has never called me daddy again. Hopefully she will soon repent.

There is still so much to learn from this, but I will stay action for now. We continue next week.
