What is SEO? Is SEO Easy that Anyone can Do It?

You must have heard many people saying that #SEO is so easy, I have read many articles on it and now aware of how SEO works! But is it really that easy?

Just knowing about Keywords, Content, Meta tags and Backlinks doesn't make you an SEO expert, it's much more than that. But I would say, SEO is all about providing the user a great experience, the more you optimize your site around user-experience less you have to think about SEO. You don't become an expert until you're not skilled enough on providing users what they want. ??????????????????? ?????????? ?? ?????????? ???????????????????? ???????? ???? ???? ???????? ???????? ????????.

Following are the metrics you should look at when you optimize the user experience:

??. ???????? ????????????????????: Navigation should be easy to use, structured in a proper manner so the user can easily get an idea about the content on site

??. ????????????????: Headings should be used properly, it behaves like a roadmap for the user

??. ?????????????? ??????????: This is most important, user loves spending more time on sites with low speed 

??. ?????? ???????? ????????????????: A site must have a custom 404 page to instruct the User to navigate through other relevant pages if the searched page doesn't exist on the site

?404 Handling is must because you won't want to let the users bounce back as:

-You forgot to redirect the page whose URL was changed recently

-User misspelt the URL when typing in the search bar

-The removed pages that don't exist on site still linked to other pages where user landed on (we should keep users on our site for as much as we can)

Once you have optimized the website for user experience, you can look at the following metrics in GA to get a sound idea on what actions to take further to optimize it more.

??. ???????????? ????????: When it comes to Bounce rate, the low percentage is better. A high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your Users. Based on this you can make a list of the pages which should be optimized further. 

??. ?????? ?????????????? ????????????????: This shows how engaging, valuable and relevant content your website has. A low Avg session duration could indicate that the content is not resonating with your audience or the content is not relevant to the users. Optimize such pages accordingly.

??. ???????? ????????: This refers to the percentage of users who left the site from that page. Pages with a high exit rate need to be optimized.

??. ?????????? ?????? ??????????????: This gives a great insight while measuring user-engagement. More pageviews would mean that your site has quality content that users are engaging with.

SEO has been classified into 3 segments mainly:

??. ?????????????????? ??????: This refers to how you optimize your site for better crawling and indexing. To do it better, first you will have to understand how the Search engine works, how they crawl and index your site.

??. ????-???????? ??????: This is the most important element of SEO. Optimizing page content, meta tags, heading tags, images, URLs, page loading time, mobile-friendliness interlinking etc comes in on-page SEO. This helps search engines better understand your page and reward them with improved rank.

??. ??????-???????? ??????: Off-page SEO refers to the activities you do outside your website. Creating Backlinks through different activities, sharing your page links through social media, any brand promotion activity where you get brand mentions comes in Off-page SEO.

In order to get better SEO results, ideally one must optimize all 3 elements basis how huge is your site. Keeping any of these elements unoptimized might not give you expected outcomes.
