The sales/profit mindset is focused on generating revenue and maximizing profits in the short term, whereas the ROI mindset takes a more holistic view of business success, focusing on maximizing the return on investment over the long term. The sales/profit mindset may provide immediate gains, it can also lead to short-term thinking and decision-making that sacrifices long-term success. The ROI mindset, on the other hand, requires a more strategic and disciplined approach, with a focus on creating long-term value for all stakeholders.
