AZZ WSI do Brasil Ltda Announces Recognition from Petrobras as Best Supplier in the Category of Offshore Maintenance Services

December 22, 2020 – Petrobras, the publicly-held corporation that operates in an integrated and specialized manner in the oil, natural gas and energy industry, publically announced the 3rd edition of Petrobras Best Suppliers Award. The awards ceremony had to be suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Promoted since 2018, the Petrobras Best Suppliers Award aims to recognize companies that have a relevant participation in delivering products and services to the company, generating value and seeking excellence and strengthening the spirit of collaboration and partnership.

Rodrigo Ugarte, Executive Supply Manager, said “each year, we recognize the commitment of partner companies in the pursuit of excellence and in alignment with Petrobras' values. This edition was even more challenging, but provided us with the inclusion of new categories aligned with the ESG principles and practices and all suppliers who write the company's history with us.”

AZZ WSI do Brasil Ltda was recognized among 21 suppliers total and specifically in the category of offshore maintenance services for the development of an automated technology solution that significantly extended the service life of a Petrobras FPSO asset. Partnering with Petrobras engineers and obtaining approval from the licensing regulator, AZZ WSI do Brasil Ltda implemented an industry first automated repair solution.
