General availability: Improved geo-replication for Azure Cache for Redis
Several enhancements have been made to the passive geo-replication functionality offered on the Premium tier of Azure Cache for Redis. New metrics are available for you to better track the health and status of your geo-replication link, including statistics around the amount of data that is waiting to be replicated. With this feature, you can now initiate a failover between geo-primary and geo-replica caches with a single click or CLI command, eliminating the hassle of manually unlinking and relinking caches. A global cache URL is also now offered that will automatically update your DNS records after geo-failovers are triggered, allowing your application to only manage one cache address.?
General availability: Azure Active Directory for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server
Azure Active Directory authentication for Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Flexible Server allows you to improve database security by delegating credential management and authentication to a centralized identity provider.?Azure Active Directory supports advanced security features such as second factor authentication options, password lifecycle management, applications and managed identities, and conditional access. Azure Active Directory for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server now provides full support for managed identities, improved group roles and support for invited users and Azure Active Directory-only authentication mode with ability to disable local user support. Azure Active Directory general availability has already been announced, so now we are adding API/CLI support to it, with terraform support coming soon.

General availability: Encryption using CMK for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server
Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Flexible Server uses storage encryption of data at-rest for data using service managed encryption keys in limited Azure regions. Your data, including backups, are encrypted on disk and this encryption is always on and can't be disabled. The encryption uses FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic module and an AES 256-bit cipher for your Azure storage encryption. This feature is now available in all public Azure regions.
Generally Available: Availability zones support for Azure Functions in new regions
Availability zones for Azure Functions is now available in the Norway East, South Africa North, Switzerland North, and UAE North regions on both Premium (Elastic Premium) and Dedicated (App Service) plans.?
For apps running in a zone-redundant plan, even as the app scales in and out, the function app platform automatically spreads the instances in the plan across all zones of the selected region.
Generally Available: Durable Functions support for .NET isolated model
Durable Functions is an extension of Azure Functions that lets you write stateful functions in a serverless compute environment.?
Durable Function’s support for .NET 7.0 running in the isolated worker process is now generally available. Note that this release also supports .NET 6.0 and .NET Framework.?
