Role: Azure SQL Data Architect

Job Location : Bangalore

• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
• Design and implementation of modern data solutions ( like Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Real-time data ingestion, and Azure Analysis service )
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to be used by the Business team, to meet both functional non-functional requirements in the product. Running and managing these spikes within the sprint.
• Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models
• Participate and help in creating Coding standards and Best practices for a robust solution.
• Identify, communicate and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Decisions throughout the full lifecycle
• Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience in data modelling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
• Experience in translating/mapping relational data models into Data Base Schemas
• Experience with modelling tools (such as Lucid charts, Capture technical metadata through data modeling tools)
• Ability to translate a logical model into a physical model, adding appropriate physical objects needed to create the database e.g. indexes
• Should have 10 – 12 years’ experience in architecting solution using Azure SQL

Candidate should have:

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory required
• In-depth skills with Azure Analysis Services with the ability to configure and administrate all aspects of SQL Server.
• Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions as an architect.
• Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions
• Experience in Architecture, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL DB, Data Factory, Azure Analysis Service.
• known at least one programming language
• Expert level knowledge of SQL DB
• Experience to build and test physical data models for a variety of use cases meeting performance and efficiency goals
