AZURE

AZURE

Azure was first introduced at the Professional Developers Conference (PDC) in October 2008 under the codename "Project Red Dog". It was officially launched as Windows Azure in February 2010 and later renamed to Microsoft Azure on March 25, 2014. Microsoft Azure, or just Azure, is the cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft. It has management, access and development of applications and services to individuals, companies, and governments through its global infrastructure. Azure, also known as Microsoft Azure, is a cloud computing platform and a suite of cloud services offered by Microsoft. It provides a wide range of cloud-based services and solutions that enable organizations to build, deploy, and manage applications and services through Microsoft's global network of data centers.

Some of the common azure functions are sending emails, starting backup, order processing, task scheduling such as database cleanup, sending notifications, messages, and IoT data processing. One of the biggest benefits of Azure is its cost savings. Migrating to Microsoft Azure can lead to significant cost savings for businesses. With Azure, there are no upfront costs for hardware or infrastructure, and organizations only pay for the services they use.

Common Issues with Microsoft Azure

  • Planning. One of the most common issues businesses face with a cloud migration is failing to plan properly. ...
  • Lack of understanding of Azure. ...
  • Cost Management. ...
  • Security. ...
  • On-going Administration. ...
  • Conclusion.

It is designed to execute a single or few things as fast as possible, so it can't perform multiple tasks. Since it is a compute-on-demand service, it is not best for intensive computing and long-running functions.
