2 个月Marcel Broschk excellent article! I know I'm 9 months late to the party but I'd add Logic Apps allow "Inline Javascript/C#" that Power Automate doesn't, while Power Automate has nifty actions like "Approvals" and "Adaptive Cards", which logic apps doesn't.

10 个月Nicely stated comparison. I would add performance/scalability and security as key factors to choose between logicApp or PowerAutomate. While PA is something tightly coupled with underline powerplatform computation, logicapp can be easily scaled up or down. From security perspective, logicapp takes in account azure keyvault, or idenity. In addition to automation needs, its vital to discuss all these use cases with customer in tech workshops to ensure appropriate tool selection.

10 个月Nice write up, I would also add under the hood they are the same, as Power Automate uses logic apps systems. It's just another more user friendly abstraction with different licenses and way of connecting (That's why they use the same expressions and definition schemas). Anyone who can develop in Power Automate can in Logic Apps too, the challenge is around setting up the required components in Azure.
