The Azure of Lake Sevan

The color of Lake Sevan alters continuously throughout the day with the changing light, the reflection of the surrounding mountains and its own mysterious process. It has inspired artist, poets, writers and architects throughout our history. We are inspired by her as well… In this design we have incorporated architectural details from Sevanavank- a ninth century monastery overlooking the lake, a slice from the protective and healing prayers of St. Gregory of Narek, and the ever changing – at times dazzling, at times solemn azure color of Lake Sevan.
