Azure DevSecOps Engineer

Role Overview:

• Design, develop, and manage DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab, Nexus, and others.
• Collaborate with various teams to continuously improve DevSecOps processes and tools.
• Ensure all deliverables meet user acceptance criteria.
• Handle self-directed assignments with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to deadlines and maintain high-quality standards in deliverables.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on automation and tooling for DevSecOps, offering practical, relevant, and objective insights.
• Recommend and apply industry best practices.
• Implement and enforce security practices within automated pipelines.

Qualifications:

Clearance Requirements:

• Must hold an active DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Azure in DevSecOps environments.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application and operating system security.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Lean, Kanban, or Scrumban.
• At least 3 years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Helm.
• Proficient in YAML and Groovy.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify, OSCAP, and Anchore.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate security policies, standards, and risk-related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience working in DoD Azure environments.
