Project Overview

We have just won a very interesting DevSecOps and re-platforming project for our client, which will act as a lighthouse project in their Cloud strategy. That person will be part of a team integrated by a Cloud Architect (focused on the re-platforming activities) and a cybersecurity expert among others.

What you can expect & what we want you to do:

• Lead the definition and set up of a new DevOps platform based on Azure DevOps
• Define and implement standard CI/CD templates in Azure DevOps
• Integrate Azure DevOps pipelines with on-premise Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus…
• Collaborate in a PoC to demonstrate how to re-platform an existing java-based application, including the migration of the existing CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate in the definition of guidelines for re-platforming on-premises applications to Azure

What you are good at & what you’ll need to win:

• Experience defining standards, principles, best practices around DevOps
• Experience designing and setting up DevOps platforms, integrating CI/CD pipelines with testing tools, QA tools, artifact repos, and other supporting tools
• Experience defining/implementing reusable CI/CD pipelines templates
• Experience with Azure DevOps, particularly with Azure Pipelines, Artifacts and Repos
• 10+ years of experience in IT industry
• English level: C1 - Advanced

Highly Valuable:

• Azure DevOps certified
• Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube and Nexus
• Experience with IaC (infrastructure as code), ideally with Terraform or Azure Bicep
• Experience with java and/or node.js stack
• Experience re-platforming on-premises applications to bring them to the Cloud (Azure ideally)
• Experience using Azure managed services (e.g. Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Monitor.)
