Azure Data Factory Engineer, contract to hire! Must be located in Issaquah, [email protected]

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an?Azure Data Factory Engineer?for our premier client in?Issaquah, WA. This is a?6?month contract ot hire position and must be 100% onsite the first 6 months.

Education and Experience ?

• 2+ years of experience in Snowflake, Hadoop, or other Data Warehouse technologies; Snowflake preferred.
• 2+ year’s working with JSON, AVRO, Parquet, CSV, etc.
• 2+ year’s working on ADF in cloud platforms; Azure preferred.
• 2+ years’ of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 or newer.
• 2+ years’ of experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tool (preferred)
• Experience with complex multi-server environments and high availability environments.
• Experience using Azure Data Factory, Five Tran, Spark or other similar data integration tools.
• Experience with system monitoring, log management and error notification.
• Fundamental network and IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Highly motivated; able to work independently, multi-task, respond to changing priorities and initiative to own specific tasks.
• Strong problem determination, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills & customer service skills.
• Ability to work analytically to solve both tactical and strategic problems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

Languages (Must have):

• English.
• Native or bilingual proficiency.

Technical Must Haves:

• Azure Data Factory - ADF - this is a MUST Snowflake is targeted but SQL Server will work Data Warehousing experience ELTL and ETL experience.

Nice to Have:

• Azure family of applications and tools Python Scripts JSON scripting.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• ELTL and ETL process - assists with development, building, monitoring, maintaining, performance tuning, troubleshooting and capacity estimation.
• Sources data from the operational systems.
• Prepares the database-loadable file(s) for the Data Warehouse.
• Manages deployment of the data acquisition tool(s).
• Monitors and maintains ELT/ELTL data pipelines.
• Monitors, reports and resolves data quality.
• Works closely with all involved parties to ensure system stability and longevity.
