Azure Blockchain Service now available in preview

Building products that customers want, or even better need, is what drives most of us to wake up everyday, excited to come to work at Microsoft. I've been fortunate in my career to have experienced many different parts of our business, from support to partner engagement, but nothing is more thrilling than shipping product.

Today is no exception. I'm thrilled, proud even, to announce the availability of Azure Blockchain Service, available in preview. I've been honored to have been leading this effort, from ideation to public preview, with a team of super-talented engineers and PMs that have worked tirelessly to get to this milestone.

Azure Blockchain Service (ABS) is a fully-managed ledger service in Azure, enabling customers to quickly deploy Ethereum-based blockchain networks, while not having to worry about the underlying infrastructure. As a PaaS service, ABS manages the high-availability, patching, monitoring and simplifies the ability to create and manage consortiums.

While the journey to get here was long and paved with blood, sweat, tears and Tums, releasing to preview is just the beginning. Now the hard work begins.
