Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: Celebrating 75 years of India & 75 years of nation building!

It is a matter of great pride for all #Indians to be celebrating this incredible milestone of 75 years of a free, vibrant, democratic, beautiful nation that is #India or #Bharat as we know it - our #azadikaamritmahotsav.

Our foundation and journey as a nation, the creation of the #largestdemocracy in the world, underpinned by one of the #oldestcultures and a extremely rich history with incredible #diversity has been a source of inspiration to countries around the world. On this special occasion, we remeber our father of the nation #MahatmaGandhi, who inspired and continues to inspire generations of people across the world with his message of compassion, love and #nonviolence.

Today, as the Hon. Prime Minster of India, Shri #NarendraModi ji unfurled the tricolour from the ramparts of the Red Fort in Delhi, every Indian felt a surge of pride and joy. We all reverberate with his message to focus on being a forward looking nation, that is confident of its standing, that is focussed on the #wellbeing of its people, that promotes #equality, that is #atmanirbhar, that promotes #womenempowerment and one that contributes actively towards the well being of the world. #VasudevKutumbakam - the world is one family is the spirit that drives a resurgent India.

At thyssenkrupp Industries India we take pride in the fact that this is also a celebration of 75 years of our exisitence in India! Founded in January 1947, we have been part of this incredible journey and had the good fortune to be able to contribute towards the formation of the core industrial #infrastructure that sustains India. With our plants and technlogy for #cement, #mining, #power and #sugar, we have ensured that the core sector for the rapid growth of India remains strong.

Further, over these years, we have remained ahead of the curve in bringing and localizing critical technologies for an #atmanirbharbharat. Over the years, we have brought in and developed technologies relating to #CFBC boilers, Critical Biomass boilers, next generation of Sugar equipment such as 2 roller mills, IPCC and complex overland conveying solutions in mining, and the cutting edge technologies for #green and efficient cement plants. With the strong local capabilities, high quality and competitive offerings, we have been deliving from India to the world over these 75 years - a true realization of #MakeinIndia!

Over the years, we have taken strides in enhancing the skills of our local workforce, including the establihment of the first ever #thyssenkrupp School of #Welding Excellence in Pune, in collaboration with ITI Aundh. Every year, this will enable more than 100 students to aquire the best welding skills with state-of-the-art equipment and tools. And this is just the beginning - we will continue to do much more!

This is our commitment to #India - that we will continue to contribute strongly towards the development of #technicalskills and #manufacturingcapabilities in the country, enabling a strong and resilient economy, generating employment of our youth and enabling a #sustainable and #environment friendly core industrical sector!
