I came with a heartbeat,
And you wanted out.
A flush down the toilet,
Regrets and self-doubt.
Will loom in your future,
Haunt you til death,
For you had forsake me – 
My own little breath.
You chose of the devil and
Cast me away,
Like bugs on a windshield,
Your view of the day.
And now you’ve grown older,
And wiser 
And smart,
But I was not there…..
Now a hole in your heart.
