Axiom’s next trip to the International Space Station will carry the first Saudi woman into space. In Washington Two Saudi Arabian astronauts will go to the?International Space Station?in the spring of 2023 on a private mission, NASA announced on November 1st.
Peggy Whitson and John Shoffner will be joined on the Ax-2 mission. It is a Crew Dragon flight that is scheduled to launch no earlier than May 1, 2023, to the station by two Saudi mission specialists according to Angela Hart. She is the manager of NASA’s commercial LEO development program. She was speaking at a meeting of the NASA Advisory Council’s Human Exploration and Operations Committee. Their names have not yet been made public.
