The other day someone wrote this about me:


“Katherine works in HR and is an absolute titan in her sector. We have worked together a few times in the past both professionally and personally and she is a wonderful person to work with”


Some people don’t like recognition. They get flummoxed by it. They get embarrassed by it.

I never used to like it much but as I’ve got older, it means more and more to me and so getting this from someone, made my day.

As a LI and business community we are rubbish at openly complimenting people. My advice…today send someone you work with or have collaborated with, a message saying how good they are in your view. Make someone’s day.

The person who wrote this will be reading this, so from me to you “thank you…..you made my day”!
