I personally did not buy anything on Prime day but closely watched to see how it unfolds for AWS throughput and amazons scalability. As expected they crushed it, this is engineering at its best. I am super impressed by their scale and execution, these numbers paint a beautiful picture. All I can say is, these guys know how to scale!

Lets take a quick look at some numbers.

Amazon sold more than 175M items on Prime day(2019) that is more sales than cyber Monday and black Friday of 2018 combined.
