AWS Well Architected Framework

In my extra time at home these days, I have been pondering. My latest thought session has led me to wonder if the AWS Well Architected Framework could be applied to other Cloud services such as Azure and GCP. With this in mind I reevaluated the AWS Well Architected Framework from an industry best practice standpoint, for architecting, securing and managing environments in the cloud. Once I removed my AWS hat and concentrated on the key principles discussed in the documents, I realized that the AWS framework at its core embraces the same key elements that applies to all cloud providers.  Principles such as Cost control, Optimization, Performance, Security and Reliability are tenets that we use regardless of the environments we are constructing. Although, AWS discusses these architectural principles from within their specific verbiage of services, tools, and environment the foundational principles will allow us to secure any of our cloud services regardless of platform.
