AWS Impact Accelerator Women Founders, Atlanta Innovation Week, & Dope Founder Wins

Listen, I have so much to share that I don't know where to start. On a related note, I'm a little burnt out. And I say "a little" because my organized (read: forced) a staycation two weekends ago. Sadly, I felt guilty taking the back half of a Friday and the weekend off. Smh.

But I still gotta outwork yesterday, so here's the latest.

AWS Impact Accelerator Women Tech Startups

Applications for the AWS Impact Accelerator for Women Founders are?now open through?August 26, 2022. Selected startups receive $125,000 cash grant and $100,000 in AWS credits all at zero cost and for zero equity.

The program is designed for U.S.-based women founders who are the CEO and/or CTO of an innovative tech or tech-enabled startup. We're talking pre-seed startups beyond ideation with a fully-developed MVP or launched product. The program is industry and vertical agnostic, and we welcome startups with technical leads who are leveraging cloud technologies or plan to.

Atlanta Innovation Week 2022 (October 17 - 22)

Atlanta will be on absolute fire the week of October 17th - 22nd. It’s actually called Atlanta Innovation Week. There will be a ton going on, and my friends at Metro Atlanta Chamber are putting together a website with all of the activities. But I created a quick guide with my personal picks.

You need to be in Atlanta if you are in the tech startup space with events from Techstars, Goodie Nation (obvious bias is obvious), BLCK VC, Engage, Venture Atlanta, and more. There's even a Venture Atlanta discount code for diverse investors.
