Today we will look into some AWS services and group them for a better understanding
1 Global Services
2 Regional Services
3 AZ(Availability-Zone) Services
4 Hybrid Services
5 Serverless Services
6 Managed Services
Global Services
AWS services whose control planes and data planes don’t exist independently in each Region. Because their resources are not Region-specific, they are commonly referred to as global. (AWS)
Examples are?
AWS IAM, AWS Organizations, AWS Account Management, Route 53, AWS Network Manager, Amazon CloudFront, AWS Shield Advanced, AWS Global Accelerator.

Regional Services
AWS Regional Services are a group of AWS services that are designed to improve the performance and availability of your applications in specific geographic regions around the world.
You can find more about which services are offered in which region in the following link
AZ(Availability-Zone) Services
Availability Zones are distinct locations within an AWS Region that are engineered to be isolated from failures in other Availability Zones. They provide inexpensive, low-latency network connectivity to other Availability Zones in the same AWS Region.
Then there are local zones?
A Local Zone is an extension of an AWS Region that is geographically close to your users. You can extend any VPC from the parent AWS Region into Local Zones.
some services are?
EBS volumes, Instances etc
for local zones?
Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS).

Note regional services are also zoned-tied services due to the nature that they can be replicated in the specific region but in that region, you can use them in other AZ other than the AZ in which you created it.
Hybrid Services
