Job Description:

We are looking for a talented AWS DevOps Engineer with experience in cloud-based environments, particularly AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud services. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using best practices for security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software deployment and infrastructure changes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications using AWS services.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Ensure security compliance and data protection across all AWS services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production systems as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS features and best practices, and incorporate them into our processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
